Your privacy is important to Smart4Aviation. This privacy statement provides information about the personal information that Smart4Aviation collects, and the ways in which Smart4Aviation uses that personal information. 

Smart4Aviation Technologies BV, its group companies and directly or indirectly related parties acting under Smart4Aviation brand (together, "Smart4Aviation") are committed to protect personal information that Smart4Aviation collects, and to ensure lawfulness and transparency of the ways in which Smart4Aviation uses that personal information.

1. Personal data collection

If you download the brochure or subscribe to the newsletter from the Smart4Aviation website, your personal information (including your name, company's name, email address and phone number) is collected by Smart4Aviation. We also collect personal information from you when you contact us by email or via our website using our feedback form.

2. Who would be the controller for the personal data you submitted to us?

Data controller of your personal data would be Smart4Aviation Technologies BV.  As stated above, processing of the data might be conducted by other related parties acting under Smart4Aviation group brand and following common rules.

3. What is the legal basis of personal data processing?

As a data subject, your rights are described in EU General Data Protection Regulation that every organization that conducts business on EU territory is obliged to comply with. Processing of your personal data is based on consent, obtained via selecting opt-in answers to checkboxes on Contact Form.

4. What does Smart4Aviation do with your personal data?

All of the personal information described above will be stored on Smart4Aviation's user database (unless you notify us that you no longer wish us to retain such information, in which case it will be deleted). Smart4Aviation will only use your personal information in order to contact you (for example by email, mail or telephone) for those purposes to which you have previously consented on the site. For example, if you subscribe to the Smart! newsletter, Smart4Aviation will email to you the Smart! newsletter and may send you marketing information about Smart4Aviation (press release, advertisement, invitations to the conferences, etc.) in the future. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity. Please note: Smart4Aviation do not send information about reputable third parties and any other third parties.

If you have consented to receive newsletter or marketing information, you can opt out at later date.

5. To whom is your personal data disclosed?

Smart4Aviation will share your personal information with the other members of its group. Among them are Smart4Aviation Technologies Americas Inc., AzimuthIT Sp. z o. o. sp. k. and AzimuthIT Sp. z o.o. Smart4Aviation will not disclose your personal information to any third parties, unless the EU or party’s local law obliges to do so.

6. Access to your personal data and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email us at dataprotection@smart4aviation.aero or use the contact form. Alternatively you can write to us at the address shown at the end of this document. Please note that we might charge you a small fee for this service.

You may also ask us to correct or remove information that you find outdated or inaccurate. As Smart4Aviation we want to make sure that your personal information we process is fair, accurate and up to date.

7. How would you opt-out?

If you do not wish to receive information about Smart4Aviation or cancel your subscription to Smart! newsletter you can always email us to unsubscribe@smart4aviation.aero. Your email address and other personal information will be removed from the Smart4Aviation user database.

8. When does this Privacy Policy not apply?

This Privacy Policy only applies to the collection and use of data by Smart4Aviation. It does not cover third party sites to which we might provide links. Those sites may have their own privacy policies, and Smart4Aviation does not have a right to control the privacy policies or data protection standards of such third parties. In such cases please read and refer to the privacy protection policy of the third party.

9. Cross-border data

Internet is everywhere and we use it everywhere. That is why information that Smart4Aviation collects may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which Smart4Aviation has establishments to enable the use of the information in accordance with this privacy policy. Please note that it might involve transfer outside of European Economic Area. Communicating with us, you acknowledge and agree to our processing of your personal information in this way.

Why do we inform you about it?
According to EU ePrivacy regulations (EU Directive 2002/58/EC with later amendments), and their implementations in EU member states (including Netherland and Poland where companies owning Smart4Aviation website are located),  Smart4Aviation is obliged to notify users that the website uses cookies and what is their purpose.
